It offers valuable support and guidance to enhance their growth within the field. By providing assistance with challenging cases, personal well-being, and staying informed about professional advancements, mentoring contributes significantly to their overall professional development.
In accordance with the guidelines set by EFT International, it is a mandatory requirement for individuals seeking accreditation and certification as EFT International students or EFT practitioners to participate in six hours of mentoring every year. To assist you in meeting this requirement, I offer online group mentoring sessions. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for learning, growth, and support. Before proceeding with registration, I kindly request you review the available mentoring dates and pricing to ensure it aligns with your needs.
Do Fifty EFT Practice Sessions: Attending EFT training gives you knowledge and techniques. Practice gives you experience and confidence. EFT International requires that you do fifty sessions with twenty different people. Sessions should be forty-five minutes minimum duration. Sessions can be done on the phone, internet or face-to-face. You can exchange sessions with fellow trainees from the course or other courses I have run. You can also work with family and friends. After attending the live training, you can ensure yourself as a student EFT practitioner allowing you to work legally in a professional environment.
Four Case Studies: Submit to EFTi Trainer a minimum of 4 case studies: 3 Client Case Studies (on separate individuals) and 1 Personal Case Study (on a personal issue). After the live training, you need to submit four case histories at a level two standard. You will be provided with a template to guide you through the process of writing a case study.
Provide an in-person OR video demonstration of an EFT session, and discuss this session with your Trainer/Mentor. This demonstration (and discussion) counts as one Client Case Study. The video case study will be reviewed together, allowing for a thorough analysis of its content. Please be aware that there is a fee of £150 for the video case study analysis. This fee covers the detailed review and analysis of the recorded session. Alternatively, you can attend the Integration Day. Before proceeding with registration, I kindly request you review the available Integration dates and pricing to ensure it aligns with your needs.
Case studies must demonstrate the competent, professional, and individualised application of foundational EFT skills acquired during EFT Levels 1 and 2 training and post-training practice and experience. All case studies must be submitted within 12 months of attending the Level 2 Training. The case study review investment is currently £100. If more than 12 months have passed since you attended the Level 2 training, your Trainer/ Mentor may request that you attend a refresher course.
Assessment: Multiple-Choice Questionnaire
EFT International requires that students have a certain level of knowledge before gaining their practitioner certificate. They have multiple–choice questionnaires at their site providing an external evaluation of candidates’ knowledge. It is an open-book test that is not time-limited. Candidates are allowed three attempts at this test. I do provide support if students find this challenging.
This helps you have the knowledge that you need to take this powerful technique out into the world. There is a charge for doing their test, it is currently £15. Please note also you need to join EFT International as a student member to gain access to it, which currently is £25.
Please also check the EFT International website for the latest EFTI accreditation and certification requirements.

EFT is about returning the mind, body and feelings to a state of balance and harmony so you are not limited by negative emotions. We can be affected by recurring emotions from past events such as relationships, trauma, loss, work-related stress, interpersonal problems, depression, and various kinds of ingrained anxieties. When emotions are stuck rather than dispersed in our bodies, they affect our lives and well-being.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as “tapping,” is a non-invasive therapy that helps to release negative emotions and blockages that may have been held onto for years. Developed by Gary Craig, EFT works by tapping on specific energy points on the body, known as meridians, to restore the body’s energy balance and conquer negative emotions.
EFT has been used to help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, pain, phobias, and relationship issues. It has even been found to be effective in helping Vietnam War veterans let go of the fear and pain associated with their experiences. Over 20 clinical trials have been published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals, demonstrating the effectiveness of EFT.
EFT tapping is gaining popularity, with over 9 million people searching for “EFT tapping” and related terms online each month. As Dr. Oz says, “Energy medicine is the future of all medicine.” EFT is proving to be the next big frontier not only in medicine but also in personal change and growth.
EFT tapping works by addressing the root cause of negative emotions and physical symptoms rather than just treating the symptoms. When negative emotions are stuck in the body, they affect our physical and emotional well-being, creating a vicious cycle. By restoring the body’s energy balance through EFT tapping, negative emotions can be conquered, allowing individuals to lead a more balanced and harmonious life.
By attending EFT training, you will learn how to use the technique to address personal issues, improve relationships, and enhance physical and emotional well-being. As an EFT practitioner, you will gain the knowledge and skills to help others overcome their emotional challenges, so they can lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
By learning EFT, you will be able to release past traumas, overcome fears, and let go of limiting beliefs. You will also be able to help others do the same, as EFT is a versatile and powerful tool that can be used in a variety of settings, including personal development, coaching, therapy, and healthcare.
EFT is also an excellent tool for self-improvement and personal growth. It can help you achieve your goals and overcome obstacles that have been holding you back. Whether you want to improve your relationships, overcome physical or emotional pain, or achieve greater success in your career, EFT can help you get there.
Furthermore, by attending EFT International training courses and becoming an EFT international certificate and accredited practitioner, you will have the opportunity to have your credentials recognized internationally, making it easier for you to reach out and help more people across the globe.
So if you’re looking to improve your life and the lives of others, EFT training is a great place to start. Sign up for an EFT level 1 and level 2 training, and start your journey to becoming an EFT practitioner today.
EFT is a very effective yet gentle method of directly balancing the body’s energy system to handle feelings you want to change. This is done by focusing on the specific problem whilst tapping with the fingers on the end points of the energy meridians.
Emotional blockages in our energy system often lead to limiting beliefs and behaviours and stop us from enjoying our lives fully. Resulting symptoms are either emotional and/or physical and include lack of confidence and self-esteem, feeling stuck, anxious or depressed, and/or the emergence of compulsive and addictive behaviours. Want to know more, go to my blog HERE.
Using EFT involves “tuning into” the issue and then tapping with fingers on specific acupressure points. All this is done while sitting normally in a chair. Following an EFT session, the dispersed feelings very rarely return. You will still retain a memory of the event, but it will no longer have the same emotional charge.
The Emotional Freedom Techniques concept was developed in the US in the 1990’s by Gary Craig. EFT roots are in acupuncture, kinesiology, and psychology. EFT is now spreading very rapidly in the US and the UK, where the practise is now used in specialist areas of the National Health Service. Gary Craig’s website, offers a wealth of information, including a manual to download and read. The manual is available free of charge.
EFT International™ is a unique, not-for-profit global association (UK registered charity number 1176538) of dedicated EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioners, trainers and students. They hold their members to the highest standards of EFT practice, and all must engage in annual professional development activities, undergo mentoring, and uphold a comprehensive code of conduct and ethics for the public benefit. The EFT International website is a hub of EFT information, events, and scholarly work, including the latest scientific research, a growing archive of EFT articles and perspectives, and a comprehensive introductory tapping manual.
How to Apply for EFT International Accreditation:
A Certified Practitioner who has a current (or previous) EFT International membership contacts Trainer and asks to become “EFT International-Accredited” at the same level of EFT practice
Practitioner logs-in to https://eftinternational.org/ and follows Upgrade and Renew instructions to supply CPD and Supervision/Mentoring records for the previous year. If the Practitioner is no longer a current member of EFT International, the process is the same.
Trainer may require Practitioner to recap training at their current level of practice either by attending a course or by covering that material during Supervision/Mentoring session(s) or groups
If supervision/mentoring is judged insufficient or not done at all then the Practitioner must complete supervision/mentoring time up to a required minimum of 6 hours
Trainer may require Practitioner to supply case studies or complete practice sessions
When all criteria for EFT International Accreditation are met, Trainer notifies Membership Secretary by completing the Trainer Recommendation form for Accredited Certified Practitioner or Accredited Certified Advanced Practitioner level

The emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, is a powerful tool that can help individuals cope with cancer’s emotional and psychological aspects. Cancer can be a daunting and overwhelming experience, but EFT can empower individuals to cope with their emotions, boost their immune systems, and uncover the root cause of their cancer.
EFT is a form of energy psychology that involves tapping on specific points on the head, body, and hands to release negative emotions and past experiences associated with cancer. It is a non-invasive therapy that can be used alongside traditional medical treatments to support the physical and emotional well-being of individuals with cancer.
One of the key principles of EFT is to allow emotions to be expressed rather than suppressed. Cancer can trigger a range of emotions, such as anger, hopelessness, and shame, and it is important to acknowledge and release these emotions to create a state of healing in the body. EFT can also boost the immune system by stimulating the “killer” immune cells, which have the ability to fight cancer cells.
EFT can also uncover the root cause of cancer. Some examples of root causes include suppressed anger, an inability to forgive, death vows, extremely low self-esteem, and excessive stress. EFT can help individuals let go of suppressed emotion, forgive themselves and others, uncover and clear past death vows, gain freedom from low self-esteem, and lift stress.
EFT Tapping for Cancer: Uncovering and Clearing the Root Causes for Optimum Healing
- Allow emotions to be expressed in order to create optimum health and prevent bottled-up emotions from affecting the body.
- Boost the immune system with EFT Tapping to give the body the best chance of stimulating the “killer” immune cells, which have the ability to gobble up the cancer cells
- Use EFT as a clinically-proven technique to uncover the root cause of cancer by releasing stressful emotions and past situations associated with it.
- Explore root causes such as suppressed anger, which is clinically linked to cancer and heart disease and can be overcome using negativity release methods based on EFT Tapping.
- Understand the link between an inability to forgive and an increased risk of cancer and disease.
- Address death vows and low self-esteem, which may have resulted from past negative experiences and limiting beliefs.
- Use EFT to lift stress by healing the root cause of overwhelm and providing a daily method to relax and feel calm.
- Use EFT Tapping to forgive oneself and others for past events that may have felt unforgivable, such as betrayal and heartbreak.
- Clear past death vows and past traumatic experiences that may have affected self-esteem and negative thinking.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping has been recognized as an “evidence-based” practice for addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and PTSD by the American Psychological Association’s Division 12 Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments.
The scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of Tapping, also known as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), is growing. Here are a few studies that have shown the benefits of Tapping:
- Research from Harvard Medical School has demonstrated that Tapping can significantly reduce or eliminate stress in the amygdala, an area of the brain involved in emotional processing.
- A study led by Dr. Dawson Church, an expert in energy psychology, found that tapping reduced 24-50% cortisol levels, a hormone associated with stress, compared to a control group that experienced a minimal reduction.
- A study published in the Energy Psychology Journal confirmed that the benefits of Tapping are not due to a placebo effect but rather the tapping process itself.
- There is also a wealth of anecdotal evidence, such as the story of Serina Deen, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, who experienced the powerful effects of Tapping firsthand and has since become a proponent of the technique.
It’s worth mentioning that EFT Tapping is currently under review by the American Psychological Association (APA) for its effectiveness in treating trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) based on their current criteria.
